Holy Week At Trinity

During Holy Week we have the opportunity to be radically transformed as we walk with Christ through the streets of Jerusalem, break bread in the upper room with the disciples, and stand with the crowd for his crucifixion.  Through prayer, scripture and song we relive each step of that week and arrive on Easter morning to celebrate His glorious resurrection.

We do this together because Holy Week is a difficult week to handle alone.  During Holy Week we stand with the crowd cheering, “Crucify him!”  Personally I am filled with thanksgiving that I am not alone.  Each of you walk with me to the cross and stand before the empty tomb.  Together we realize our need for the Savior.   Together, we praise God for sending His Son to save us.

Your presence at each of our services this Holy Week is vital because you are a part of the Church.  We are not meant to approach the cross alone.  We are called to be his Body, together, side by side.  Your presence will mean deep prayer for you, and for your neighbor.  I invite and encourage you to worship with us during Holy Week:

Led by Trinity’s Children’s Choir, Trinity Choir and Choral Scholars.  Childcare provided.

Good Friday – April 18 7:00 PM

In Christ,
Rozanna Vancil Goocey, Minister of Music
