“Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.” (New International Version, James 1:17).
Thank you, Trinity! During many of the weeks of our school-supplies mission project, our church family was apart because of pandemic concerns, and our sanctuary was dark. However, those roadblocks did not stop the love and generosity of Trinity’s congregation. Your wonderful gifts to Eastway Elementary School were delivered on March 1, and they were welcomed with joy and deep appreciation. These school supplies will help the children and their teachers complete this academic year successfully without teachers having to replenish supplies from their own funds. Each of our mission projects over our five years of partnership with the school has included a special treat for the adults at Eastway - from teachers to cafeteria workers to bus drivers. Two members of Trinity’s C4C Committee (Nancy Childers and Sarah Ford Bryson), gave chocolate candy in treat bags to each adult member of the school family. As soon as the gifts were unloaded, Eastway School Counselor Genee Murray Maddox emailed us with thanks from the entire school family. With grateful hearts, we thank you all for your continued love and support of Eastway Elementary School’s students, faculty, administrators, and staff.
